I have an excellent staff of dedicated, caring
people committed to the notion that claims is a service industry.
In the municipal insurance pool, the Ohio Plan, we’ve
handled more than 18,000 claims for the nearly 450 cities,
villages and townships throughout the state. Each case was
handled individually with the understanding that no two are
ever the same.
Self-insured retention clients can reduce premiums,
expenses and total claim payouts when their insurance products
are coupled with Hylant’s claim services. Typically,
the cost of our claim services is more than offset by reduced
premiums. And while most clients develop an overall cost savings,
there’s the added comfort that each claim is handled
effectively by experienced professionals.
We manage every aspect of a claim, including
liability determination, investigation, litigation management
and settlement negotiations. With our 24/7 claims reporting
and on-site inspections, we provide clients with some of the
best decision-making tools in the industry. And, we’re
qualified to handle claims for many of the carriers as well
as the client.

usually a difficult situation on the other end. It’s
