Throughout nearly 30 years of insuring a variety
of industries—from retail to service to manufacturing
— working hand-in-hand with clients to understand the
complexities of their business and their appetite for risk
is paramount to an effective risk management program.
Working with a large restaurant chain, I moved
their insurance program from a first-dollar, guaranteed-cost
program to a large deductible program. We helped them manage
and reduce risk as well as understand all of their liabilities
and associated costs. In doing so, the company saved hundreds
of thousands of dollars in the first year alone.
But service doesn’t stop there. Ongoing
service and claims meetings keep everyone up-to-date about
the
program’s direction. Creative solutions not only involve
working closely with my clients and putting them first, but
they also require staying on top of the marketplace. And frankly,
that just takes hard work.
