Executive Vice President
I have a track record of being there for our
clients through thick and thin. When things get tough, I continue
to provide the service and solutions our clients are accustomed
to so they can stay focused on the bigger picture.
A large convenience store/gas station/tanker
truck client with a retention-based insurance program recently
filed for bankruptcy. While that type of business ordinarily
presents market challenges, the bankruptcy raised placement
issues to a new level.
The existing carriers would not renew and large
retentions were no longer possible. The budget was limited,
and the only option was a short-term policy until a court
imposed a deadline for the sale of the company.
Failure to place the necessary coverage by
the renewal date would have forced an immediate liquidation.
After an exhaustive search, our Hylant team negotiated favorable
terms with five carriers and the company was successfully
sold soon after.
We were there for our client when they needed
us most. We relied on our extensive resources and market relationships
to get the job done. I am committed to doing what it takes
to finding the most cost-effective solutions for my clients
in all circumstances, including a comprehensive renewal process,
day-to- day service, a difficult claim situation, or just
keeping the doors open as noted above. For me, that has made
the difference throughout my career.
