The level of responsibility companies entrust
with brokers is enormous. It is essential that we do exactly
what we say we’ll do, and respond to clients’
needs on demand. Partnering with client companies is a big
part of the responsibility entrusted to brokers.
We typically over service accounts and clients
see the results every day. Our clients experience first hand
the value in the service and expertise we provide them on
a daily basis.
At Hylant, we consider all aspects of a business—such
as operations, accounting, real estate, productivity, legal
matters and safety—before developing a program.
Large corporations operate in a dynamic environment,
and their risk management programs are continuously evolving.
We must stay flexible and nimble while working with our clients
to maintain an effective risk management program. By matching
a company’s risk management program with their exposures,
we’re able to develop programs which result in the lowest
total cost of risk.
That’s the responsibility of a risk manager,
and when that person is my client, it becomes my responsibility.
Because it’s not just the client’s credibility
on the line, it’s ours as well.
