Vice President
There are many ways to underwrite risk and
handle claims. I seek methods for my clients that fit best
with their philosophy, corporate goals and their bottom line.
In one case, a manufacturer of tempered steel
rods experienced significant fire damage and lost the majority
of its production until a new facility was built. Before moving
forward, we brought in a forensic accountant to assess the
actual ongoing business loss. The information we obtained
led us to negotiate a more favorable settlement.
Instead of rebuilding, the company was allowed
to purchase other property and equip it with more advanced
technology. The move greatly reduced downtime and fit well
with the company's long-term improvement goals.
At Hylant we have a greater sense of ownership
for our clients, and the results show every day.
